Drawn to the sounds of Chicago, Acid and French House, Dimas started collecting records from the likes of Derrick Carter, Chez Damier, Ron Trent and David Duriez, before honing his skills as a DJ in his native Thessaloniki, Greece.
Brand new this year, John Dimas is launching his own label, Elephant Moon. The label which debuts next month will be a platform for collecting and releasing music from his talented group of friends including their first release, the EP Soul Vision, a collaboration between Dimas and Paris producer, DJebali.
From teenage vinyl enthusiast to label owner, John Dimas has proved that he is very much part of an up-and-coming generation, pushing through with a new avant-garde house sound.
