Jerome Hill runs the labels Fat Hop and Don't. This mix represents the genres and music he's most passionate about (within the electronic realm) and finds a healthy balance between the familiar and the more obscure. Much of the music in this mix, like Jerome, emanates from the UK; beginning with Hip Hop, ending with the Techno, and mixing the two together with a hot lumpy porridge of Hardcore, Bleep and early Rave music. All but one of the 50 tracks in this mix are from vinyl and mixed using just the basics: 2 turntables and a two channel mixer with EQ. It's quite raw in that regard. Enjoy it, crackles and all!
