DIM130 - Red Greg

A gifted figure of the funk and soul scene; Red Greg has created his own unique sound, a mix of gospel, funk and disco, moulded specifically to each crowd, combining perfect technique and a vast collection or rarities and one dollar records.

It's his respect for the hidden gems, from 1970s disco and boogie to the 1980s modern funk - it's this knowledge that continues to hold him in high regard amongst his peers, including Floating Points, Motor City Drum Ensemble and Rahaan.

Celebrating the music he loves with each set he plays, it's easy to get carried away on the dance floor. With smooth transitions between soul, boogie, funk, disco and even a touch of jazz unfolding with perfect ability - we're delighted to have Darren join us with mix 130 for our Dimensions Series and look forward to having him join us alongside his J.A.W Family crew this summer at the festival.
