Inkeys dates back to 1983 when Nessie and Den had the idea to present new music from UK (and beyond.....) electronic music artists of whom few or no-one had ever heard, on cassette-magazine format, an innovation in the world of electronic music at the time. Inkeys and its annual UK Electronica Festivals went on to great success. Inkeys lasted 16 editions before they said goodbye. Then, in 2003, I resurrected Inkeys and put out issues 17 to 19 on CD format, where it remained until, in 2000 and something, we did Inkeys 20 in the form of a radio broadcast, specifically my weekly radio show, "The Sound", of which broadcast, you can find elsewhere on this site. It is intended that every edition of Inkeys will be available to listen on this site in due course, along with selected highlights from the UK and Lotus Electronica Festivals between 1983 and 1987 inclusive.
