Well what more could I add that hasnβt been covered by the fabulous reviews from Badger and Shift.... just a spectacular mix! Totally gets the blood pressure raised! I loved the whole damned thing but stand outs as mentioned by the boys were the Josh Wink remix, children and for me the closing number hold the sucker down.... love that record. Keep up the amazing work mate. It certainly has me looking at my breaks section again for a go myself :) best wishes O

First things first.....many thanks for this Jean, an honour indeed that you thought Threads was good enough to make a sequel to.
What an excellent, amazing job you did of it, the track choices, the progressions all done beautifully.
The progression from The One into My Bassline was brilliant, proper banging track, it had more meat on it than a butchers.
Higher State Of Consciousness, epic remix of a classic and better than the original in my opinion, love those old school claps and rim shots.
Steady Droppin, gave me images of track suit clad kids break dancing another banger of a tune .
Track after Steady Droppin, another powerful monster very d&B, love where the beat drops out with just the vocals and strings.
Atomic, dark and powerful along with To Night, 2 very good tracks, more of a dubstep groove, these would sounf excellent in the car : )
Liked the remix of Children as well, a definate change from the original version. liked it a lot.
Fantstic set Jean, had that old sound to it while still sounding very fresh, might have to do a breaks set at some point, this one fired me up : )

The idea of a sequel is due to your amazing 'Threads' mix which ended with that fantastic 'Prospa' track
It gave me inspiration to start my mix with that track and so my 'Breaks' mix was made possible ;)
It became a more or less 'breakbeat' mix which I actually never did before on mixcloud.
Was really happy with the result and therefore it is a small effort to say 'Thank You' for the inspiration ;)

Well i got the inspiration for the Threads set from Prospa, always starts with one track for me then i build from there. Looks like the same happened with you : ) so that track has spawned 2 sets. After listening to your excellent breaks mix it's got me going off in a different direction, which is pretty much anywhere at the moment : )
No worries about the 'a' to an 'e' had to do it, only fair

very nice set and very different to Shift6's normal outing normal outings :)
The one really nice breakbeat rythm the minimalistic style really progresses witrh the drop of those vocals. Funky :)
Epic drop into My bassline. Loved this track possibly my favourite of the mix. Really good beats and bass quite psydub-esque.
Very nice transition into High State of Consciousness again epic track :D Flawless mix into Steady dropping again very cool bass line like previous track almost 80's cyber/electronica feel to this track.
Children is excellent really phat bassline and that oldschool early 90's type vocal scratching reminds me of bassment jaxx.
Atomic again great track really nice drop. Heavy.
Back to the funky feel with To Night still that heavy bass line continues though.
Love the last track as wel lwhat a way to finish the mix.

Building a set around one track (in this case - Prospa with The One) can produce different results ;) Shift6's mix inspired me to do this one.
