Mark Whitby - 2022/01

The excellent Get The Fuck Outta Dodge are our session guests for this first show of the new year which, as usual, looks ahead with considerable enthusiasm to what's in store for us in the early months of 2022. That includes a featured compilation in the form of the latest Thomas Imposter Joy of Six offering as well as tracks from new albums by the likes of Cat Power, Yard Act, The Wave Pictures, Bob Vylan and Vonamor.
Naturally, we don't ignore some excellent releases that snuck out towards the end of 2021, especially as the category includes such delights as the Lisa Pung album, Jay Glass Dubs remixing Laura Agnusdei and a couple of tracks from a cracking Ghanaian compilation courtesy of Analog Africa.
In addition, of course, this being the month of the festive fifty broadcast, our Peel Back... section features three highlights from the chart of twenty years ago.
