According to Mixcloud "A Time For Us" is my 100. upload / mix! I never ever thought about uploading that number of mixes. When I started with mixcloud I was focussed on seventies & eighties aor blue-eyed soul & yacht rock. I was rejected by AOR Disco (I even didn't get any response upon my request) when I asked whether it's possible to provide them a yacht rock guest mix. So I started my on thing on mixcloud. I never regretted it. Despite the fact that mixcloud is sometimes quite strange with all its "improvements" I had a lot of fun when I created my mixes and most importantly I made new musical friends!
A Time For Us is a bit more eclectic than my usal mixes, it contains personal favorites and is a walk through the late sixties and earily seventies section of my record collection. Another fun fact regarding the Lyn collins album. The later Kiss memebers Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley sang background vocals on two tracks of the album and Peter Criss later Kiss drummer did some handclapping. 🤓

Glückwunsch mein Freund 👍100 Shows sind eine Menge Arbeit und Zeit. Du hast hier wiedermal einen tollen mood erschaffen. So ein wenig nachdenklich und melancholisch, genauso wie ich mich heute fühle. Leider bekomme ich in letzter Zeit unregelmäßig, oder teilweise überhaupt keine infos über neue Uploads oder Nachrichten mehr. Daher meine Verspätung hier. Mixcloud nervt echt. Übrigends, mich haben die bei AOR Disco auch abgelehnt. Obwohl ich schon einige Teile meiner yachtrock serie online hatte und diese sogar recht erfolgreich waren. Vielleicht zu erfolgreich 😉 Meiner Meinung nach aber deutlich besser als der Großteil was dort so zu finden war. Bin also auch nicht traurig darüber. Mach weiter so Sepp und wir versuchen uns nicht weiter von mixcloud ärgern zulassen 🙃. Beste grüße, Jörg 🫶

So hab ich Dich über Mixcloud kennengelernt. Das ständige Verschlimmbessern von Mixcloud geht mir auch ziemlich auf die Nerven. Ich bekomme (aus meiner Sicht) auch nur noch sporadisch / nach dem Zufallsprinzip Benachrichtigungen von MC. Behalte die Nerven und lass Dich auch nicht ärgern! Beste Grüsse Sepp😀👍
