Itesa

Itesa is Chilean musician and visual artist Daniel Bande now based in Berlin. Initially rooted in Santiago’s underground bands of the 2010s, he became a self taught producer, mainly with the band Nueva Costa, while performing in Chile and touring Europe, contributing to a wide range of projects within the city’s independent scene. His recording process, driven by real-time mixing is undertaken in a home-built studio where older analog synths and mixers, ROMplers, tape machines and recording equipment are used to create material.

The "Uv / Antesala" double LP by Itesa is released on Missing Commas and compiles the works that have appeared under the project name since 2018 and 2023, respectively, in a format consolidated on vinyl.
