FRESH KICKS: Third Son

Third Son came onto DJ Mag’s radar through a series of solid productions over the last two years on labels including Cajual, Materialism, Sincopat and his own imprint, Polymath.

Next week (Monday 12th December) the London-based DJ/producer’s ‘Black Hole’ EP lands on Upon You records, and the three tracks on it demonstrate exactly why he’s quickly come to be booked to play the likes of Space Ibiza, The Pickle Factory and Button Factory.

For his Fresh Kicks mix Third Son has turned in an hour of spacey and percussive tech-house that starts with ‘Black Hole’ cut ‘Refuge’, before working through productions from Fabio Montana, Sebastian Mullaert, Toto Chiavetta and more.
