Exploring Blends & Mashups

This mix blends and mashes up old-school R&B and Hip-Hop tunes. The mix blends songs that would not ordinarily go together like Tweet's "Oops" with Adele's "Send My Love," and transitioning from Sia's "Unstoppable" through the instrumental version of Immortal Technique's "3rd World" to bring in the acapella version of "I Can Love You," by Mary J. Blige. There is a Notorious BIG, "Hypnotize" mashup that extends in Rihanna's "Rude Boy," that glides seamlessly into the instrumental version of En Vogue's, "Hold On." Last but not least, a "Mi Gente" remix with Beyonce blends unbelievably into Trouble Funk's, "Pump Me Up." Listen to this mix with "L'oreille de l'autre" to unlock its musical ingenuity.
