DJSoc 019: Mattrix

Continuing his committment to the society, DJSoc veteran Mattrix mans the decks for the latest entry in our growing mix series. Having taken to DJing around 8 years ago, Mattrix's DJ sets have come to take on great versatility, spinning a range of house, electro and tech-house at events as far and wide as Nottingham and Birmingham at the much respected BPM exhibition. Despite graduating 2 years ago, Matt is still very much a regular on the DJSoc circuit, having treated the society to a rib-rattling breaks set at Soul Cellar only a few months ago. For DJSoc 019 though, Mattrix remains firmly within the 4/4 realm, delivering an hour of uncompromising deep and tech-house selections. Here Barem's recent outing for Minus is coupled with the hyper-percussive 'Basic Structure,' whilst Super Flu's trippy 'Euterpuh' is partnered with Audiojack's bumpin' rework of Style of Eye's 'Whizkid'. Needless to say, this is primed for the dancefloor - DO NOT MISS!
