DJSoc 006: Sam Hind

Host of the only trance show on Surge and society committee member Sam Hind steps up to take control of this week's DJSoc006 mix. Having discovered electronic music at the age of 17, it was only three years and several house and trance gigs later than he then decided to pursue DJing further. Within a month, he took his sound to the Soul Cellar basement, delivering a fine set of trance and progressive which have since been heard in the box bar of Southampton's Junk club. Now delivering a monthly mix series, here Sam turns his attention to the DJSoc cloudcast, bringing an hour of trance dancefloor business! Easing us in with the deeper side of the genre, the pace and mood are soon picked up, moving swiftly into the more technical and uplifiting sounds, before bringing the set to an end with some classics of the scene.
