Hello everyone.

I didn't forget this week's mix, despite a crazy work schedule. I tried to be more conscientious of harmonic mixing and I like the way it turned out. It definitely sounds better, but it steered me towards some interesting song selections. There's a part of me that is highly amused that I mixed Depeche Mode into Pig.

I think I'm getting a little better with using effects as well. I don't know exactly how acceptable that is in my chosen genres. I remember back in the late '90s, people would get mad if a DJ would play the wrong mix, segue into a new song too soon or if too much of the intro of a song was cut. I'll be out and about more soon (and maybe deejaying in a club again), so I'll see what the kids are into compared to my generation : )
