TANTRADANCE - PART 2

I recorded this mix live from Session View in Ableton 10.

It features DJ-ing and also a few of my own original loop based compositions and transitions. Heavy ambient, organic minimal techno, electronic shenanigans and much more besides.

It was performed at my studio which is in the beautiful and remote Ribeira Sacra in Galicia (NW Spain). I am creating many self-discovery projects in this location.

For this kind of mix, I'm using an Akai APC40, an Allen & Heath Xone K2, and some other bits and pieces, all running through my Powerbook Pro. There are a total of 12 channels which are active. I use all of these when doing my own stuff, and add loops/sounds when I'm dj-ing.

All my equipment can be powered by lithium or car/leisure batteries and that kind of thinking is important to everything I do.

I'm moving towards performing completely live and I've also just started learning the piano. Steep learning curve is welcomed...
