00–I dig the cue point drumming. Make sure to keep the best consistent to keep the crowd flowing! 1:15–great timing here. As you get more confident, you could play around with the key of this song to make a sick transition! 3:08–solid mix! You mix out partway through the verse, which can throw off the crowd. Try mixing out at the end of a verse of the end of a chorus for maximum effect! 5:46–lyrics are overlapping here, which makes the mix sound kinda hectic (even though everything is on beat). Use those first 4 measures of soulja boy and loop them until the vocals in no hands drop out. All of soulja boy seems a little off—the 808 sounds like its fluttering. It might be Mixcloud’s low streaming quality, but it can also happen when a track is sped up or slowed down. Getting the serato pitch n time expansion solves the problem. 8:04–timing is a tiny bit off. When you have these rapid fire hi-hats, even a tiny difference in timing can create a mess. Good job working with it! 10:14–timing sounds like its offset by 1 count here. It’s all locked on beat (nice job), but it’s offset. It tends to confuse the crowd, cuz it stops the 4-measure pattern that music normally has. 11:42– super great mix. Timing is a teeeeny bit off, but it’s close! Consider pulling out the bass of up when the drums of drop it like its hot come in. 13:18–KILLER MIX. This one gave me goosebumps. 15:15–vocals overlapping again. Other than that, gnarly transition! A hit of reverb or echo out could be useful here. 17:00–killer transition. A+! 18:00–timing is off here. Poker face is ~125bpm, and drake is ~110(i think). Consider using an echo or delay effect to blend the 19:13–great slam edit. Watch the timing so that the vox on the new track line up with the 4 counts of the old track. Overall—you’re getting better super quick! Watch out for overlapping lyrics and general timing of tracks. Think about the overall mood of the tracks you’re playing—ask yourself if the vibe of track 1 fits with the vibe of track 2. You want to bring the energy up and down over the course of a few songs—building to a frenzy and then pulling back down, repeating throughout the night.

20 - Good timing on transition
09 - Completed transition in verse. Would suggest completing at end of chorus or verse
50 - Lyrics overlapping. Would suggest outro instrumental of No Hands as lyrics to Crank That come in
20 - Good timing on transition
35 - Good timing on transition
45 - Slightly off beat & pretty good timing. Would suggest playing hook of "Up" out then transitioning
15 - Great timing on transition. Would suggest starting Headband from beginning, not a few seconds in.
00 - Lyrics overlapping and sounds jumbled. Timing when ending Headband was great
04 - Great timing on ending Iggy into Drake
13 - Timing bringing in Just Dance was off & not on beat
15 - Good timing on transition. Would love to hear another affect being used

Additional Notes: Timing for transitions is getting a lot better. Two general concepts to consider include: complete the transition at the end of a chorus and going into the intro / verse of the next song, and overlapping lyrics is often something to stay away from. Lastly, one other area to consider focusing on is how your songs blend together. Ask yourself, "does this song I want to bring in blend / build / or complement the song I'm playing now?".

Great work Drezy. I'm excited to hear the next one.
