Brilliant introspective start with "On Swift Wing (Battage Mix)". The genre I am most fond of & when you opened with this tune from Derek Howell, I was already loving this mix! The ambient progression in this tune is spectacular behind that bassline.
The way you let the previous tune linger into "Even" , just the right hypnotic elements brings in a tinge of euphoria into the mix. The rolling synth & bassline just takes you on to another level.Stunning programming & mixing!
"I feel her butterfly" spices up the mix with it's beautiful elements! Love how you programmed this tune into the mix by removing the dominating kicks & bassline from the previous tune to a more elemental tune.
"Tulum" next up fits in perfectly with those hypnotic vocals & deep percussive elements! This tune takes you deeper, adds a flavour of introspection to the mix.
The manner in which you have mixed in "Cuore" is stunning. This tune nicely takes the mix up a notch with its synth lead. The skill with which you use your tunes to subtly change the mood from one of introspection to a more steady dance beat is amazing!
"Out of touch" takes the mix into nice deep tech territory. Love the way you mix styles so seamlessly! "Cuore" sets this tune up nicely by introducing the steady beat. Amazing work!
Nice way to bring back the melody with "Forgiven", expertly switching the vibe. "Earth Moving" adds new elements by the use of those percussive samples & that driving synth. You make these subtle changes in the mix by some beautiful tune selection which keeps the listener hooked.
The next tune "Nebula" - such an apt title does take you deep into space! The journey which you have created through your tune selection needs to be mentioned over and over again!
"Funktitude" is quite the dancefloor weapon! I so didn't want the mix to end here! Acid bassline & all that! :)
An absolutely stunner of a set with great tune selection & incredible programming! The tale of your echo lingers on!
