Let's pick up where we left off on session 2... Kicking things off with local funksters Purple Funk Metropolis' brand new cut "Astro Turf," the groove doesn't stop until the last vocal notes of Shinichi Osawa's (Mondo Grosso) take on the Hubert Laws anthem "Family." Groove to the mellow beats of the Visioneers, the UK broken beat jazz of Kamaal Williams, and the precision funk of Vulfpeck. Then enjoy the cosmic grooves of Jamiroquai, the soulful vocals of Milton Wright, and the melt your face off funk-jazz-bossa that is Madeline Bell! Take a detour into some fiery latin rhythms curtesy of the master conguero, Ray Barretto, followed by an organ filled jam by Prophets of Peace, and then mellow out for a moment with the astral funk of Sharon Revoal. Finish off with the aptly titled "Spaced Out" by the Blackbyrds, the ferocious funk of Orgone, and the Reflex Revision of the EWF classic "Happy Feeling!"
