Spring Threshold — Sunshine Session is a melodic house-leaning open-air set recorded May 9, 2026 on a beautiful sunny day in Chicago.
This set marked a personal threshold in my DJ practice: my first field test of a new sound system, my first time mixing openly in the public park near my home, and a moment where my progress with EQ blending and low-end handoffs started to feel more embodied.
People naturally gathered around the music — sitting in the grass, dancing, or listening from picnic blankets while the sound became part of the day.
One emotional anchor was mixing in Could You Be Loved, remixed by LP Giobbi. LP Giobbi was one of the biggest influences in me deciding to start learning DJing, so playing that track outside in the sun felt like a small full-circle moment.
The session ends with a tender orchestral outro that draws the listener toward reflection.
In gratitude and warmth,
