Wollongong, Australia
AMPT Australia is the DJ identity of Roger, a professional open-format DJ based in Wollongong, NSW.
A qualified chef with 15 years of hospitality experience, Roger knows a great event is about more than music. After becoming an amputee, music helped him through difficult times and inspired him to pursue DJing full-time. AMPT represents being amped up, amplified and an amputee.
His musical journey spans Rock ’n’ Roll, Motown, Old School R&B, Reggae, Classic House, Nu-Disco, Disco Reworks, Funky, Jackin’ and Groovy House, and much more.
His philosophy is simple: good music, at the right time, for the right people. It's about reading the crowd, connecting with people and creating memorable experiences.
From weddings and private parties to corporate events, venues and festivals, Roger brings passion, versatility and genuine hospitality.
Based in Wollongong and available Australia-wide, his dream is to DJ his way around Australia, sharing music and meeting people.
