Oh, how do we start? Twenty-five years ago was 1992, the musical utopian age of American music. It didn’t start this year, but it was highlighted enough to warrant a 4 hour show. There was a time in America when every musical genre was accepted on the airwaves. Radio stations took chances and we benefited. Now remember, this was before technology really took off. We had landlines, tape decks and CDs, no internet, and we had to talk to people face to face. Scary, right? MTV and the radio ruled our listening behaviors, and the record shop reaped the rewards.

So, let us go back the last great era of American Music. Let us take a closer look at 1992.
