Was talking with some of my other mobile dj homies today during Music Monday and was introduced to a lesser-known sub genre of funk based around Washington D.C. and Baltimore, that was started in the late 60s/early 70s by a man who did some time for murder. He's a real killer as is this genre and while it's my first time hearing this stuff as I deejayed it (nothing fancy on this one and probably some rough spots), I'm looking forward to getting a whole lot more of this stuff and really cracking it up.
