Breaks Mix

Here’s one putting the drums at the forefront of the mix. As a drummer, I’m naturally drawn to tracks with an emphasis on this element of the production. Lyn Collins ‘Think’, The Winstons ‘Amen Brother’, James Brown ‘Funky Drummer’ and many more famous breaks chopped up in weird and wonderful ways across the House, Techno, Garage , Rave, Hardcore, Disco and Breakbeat spectrum. Lots of Paul Woolford productions as the man knows his way around a drum sample… 120 to 140 BPM, plenty of unreleased bits in this one too. This was a lot of fun to put together.
