The Force is Electric

The Force is Electric

Playing tracks by

Ed Rush, DJ Trace & Ed Rush, Dj Trace, Ed Rush & Nico, Ed Rush & Nico, Fierce & Nico and more.

This mix starts in '92 during the formative years of Ed Rush, early collaborations with Dj Trace and a couple of years later, behind the scenes production from Nico which then led to full collaborations and releases on the mighty No U Turn Records. The pioneering '96 album, Torque was dark, gnarly and industrial sounding... not many experiment with sound/emotion the way these guys did back in the day.

Enjoy the mix!

Thanks guys for tuning in - glad you liked the mix! Loved these eras of DnB. Agree with you iDiO7S4An7 on the quality production that was spawned in years to come by Ed Rush and Optical... Neuro Deeeep. The Torque album / No U Turn sound, to me, was a great catalysis for that. Thanks for your comments.. .

Loving this mix mate. Puts the dark back into 'darkside'.
