This mix is the first part of a series that explores the wider range of genres and tests the l boundaries of conventional music mixing. It is a teasing selection of tunes for the morning after so you may want to plug in some headsets for this one. I hope you enjoy.

Pretty amazing work here, CL! It takes a talent to be able to make all these sounds come and flow together like you have on this set. Very experimental and totally free of inhibition; unique and very intriguing as well. You managed to construct an amazing soundscape with so many features. My mind was under the control of the music and it was a pleasure drifting away on this journey. Excellent work!
Thanks for listening Goingrey. It gives me great pleasure to read your comments and to know the positive effects the mix had over you as it did for myself while constructing it. Free of inhibition is exactly what the mix was all about. Many thanks mate I appreciate it very much.
at 25 min the machine says David lynch but in the back it is Brainiac ! More ambient I think for the last set I heard of you, but very tasteful ! Well done !
Yes good observation. I don't know but for some reason its not picking up the Brainiac tune. I went through the rest of the tunes and they are all being picked up ok. Thanks for your feedback much appreciated and I'm glad you enjoyed the selection.
Roller coaster of a set. There are so many elements I had to have a repeat listen and it was like listening to it for the first time.
It's always a good sign when there are repeat listens, thanks for the positive feedback its much appreciated.
Stunning Collection of Music you have and the way you composed and arranged this set is stunning as well!
Another masterpiece from you, i tip my hat sir, very inspiring Session! Thank you for sharing these listening experiences, i loved it! Cheers:)))
A big thank you Cheffls and I tip my hat to you as I can say the same about the quality of your sets as well. I am waiting with baited breath for your next post as I am always inspired by your work. Thanks again for your support.
I surf mixcloud always searching for something different and fresh and you definitely provide this with your music combination lock. Your work assures me there are no limits when it comes to djing. The mixing of 9 Theory remix of Tiger Tempo and Memory 6 by Lee Bannon cements the quality of this mix thx for sharing.
Thanks for listening and your comments are really humbling. Searching for different and interesting tunes I thinks is where all the fun is and blending them together is where I get the enjoyment. Many thanks.
Another mindblowing set, Combination Lock, really enjoyed it. I think it takes a special ability to put together these sorts of sets. I'm no authority on the matter of experimental sets but for me there's a bona fide sensibility of freedom to shun templates and predisposed notions of how to construct a set in your mixes, and yet you make it work time and again. There is definitely a signature sound to what you do which is something we all aspire to achieve. Will no doubt be listening again soon, awesome work...
Thanks for stopping by Edmund, always a pleasure to hear from you and I’m really stoked you enjoyed the listen. You are spot on with your analogy, I completely shun any sort of template with this one and that provided me with so much freedom that in the end it was strangely quite quick and easy to construct. It was a real calming and present experience crafting this mix. Cheers mate.
I was booming this via my stereo system & loved it - maybe i'll give it a 2nd via headphones ♥ it's a strange selection but everything fits quite well - you've got a talent for this ;)
Hi Basitan, a 2nd listen on headphones is a must. Your positive feedback is really humbling thank you. I don’t think it is as much of a talent rather the fact that I obviously love music, and the realisation that the ingredients of beats and tempo are not a necessity when crafting and making a mix work. Thanks mate for your support.
Wow, what a ride!!! will have to listen again!
Thanks Cheffls for listening and supporting the mix, it’s really appreciated. Yes the mix does require a number of listens, with 31 track in 55 minutes there is a lot to take in with just one listen. Cheers mate.
Teasing yet captivating, I completely lost myself in this one. I can imagine the mental state of the poor folks listening to this while on their comedown..... pure pleasure.
Thanks FNF for listening I'm glad you enjoyed it. Haha yes I hope the folks don't break too many teeth while listening to the mix.
