The good folk over at Ska Beat Soul (https://www.mixcloud.com/paul-homer/) recently uploaded two great mixes featuring reggae tunes and their deejay counterparts - a version excursion - and I was inspired to make a similar mix. As you may or may not know, I'm quite partial to organ grinders (see here for example: https://www.mixcloud.com/ColdSweat/organ-grinders-raw-jazz-and-funk-rhythms/) so I decided to do a version excursion featuring reggae tunes and their organ counterparts. Featuring both the very best and most innovative organ players as well as .. eeehm... lesser talented guys (sorry mr. Tosh..). Also inspired by Ska Beat Soul: this mix contains both big hits as well as obscure cuts so there's nuff for everybody. Enjoy!
