I had to get myself some new needles before I could spin records again, so it's been a while. I did spin records with https://www.mixcloud.com/ElephantSoundsystem/ though, and it's through this radioshow I got the idea for this new mix. I misunderstood a suggestion about a theme based show - the proposal was playing tunes with girls in it - and brought a selection of the finest female reggae singers with me. Much to my surprise though, this wasn't at all what the rest of the crew had in mind! How one can interpret a suggestion like that other than I did? Trust me, it's a long story...
Anyway, the show was a lot of fun and I played a couple o' female fronted reggae tunes and here's the rest: from rocksteady to early reggae via roots to contemporary reggae. Some tunes were already featured in earlier mixes on this here mixcloud thing, but you know, when it nice, play it twice! ;)
Hope you like it!
