SDC – Jack Hamill – has long been on everyone’s radar after a string of EPs blending electronica and techno with mind-expanding funk, many via acclaimed techno and leftfield label R&S. Earlier this month he released his long-awaited full-length debut, ‘Welcome to Mikrosector-50’, throwing a fine curveball by creating a full sci-fi concept album entwined with detail and debauched B-movie narrative. It served as the perfect vehicle for the full-on galactic funk flex that Hamill had been hinting at for years, also exploring plenty of deeper electronic textures.
SDC’s Clash mix is in equal parts trippy, funky and downright bangin’. Brian Eno, Jeff Mills, Aphex Twin, Toddy Terry and Black Sabbath all help Hamill on his way, traversing through ambient floatiness, robotic electro-rap and a ton of nostalgic grooves, before diving into a full-on dancefloor workout.

Between 'Electric Funk' and 'Jungle Wonz' is 'Loui$ - Pink Footpath'. it's the instrumental version of Loui$ - Magic Dance. Awesome track!
