MEMORIA FLORAE SONORIS merges embroidery-inspired visuals with live-recorded electronic compositions. 24 original flowers embroidered by my mother in 1979.
Using analogue equipment and synthesizers, I want to capture the memory through a one-direct-take sonic interpretation for each flower. The work is a sonic homage to the women of my family and their tradition of embroidery, reimagined through sound, design and visual abstraction.
