Sedition 003 with Marc Meistro

DMV-native Marc Meistro of the Sol Power All-Stars and Sol Power Sound record label has been DJing since the late 90s. Locally you would find him at Wonderland Ballroom, Saint Ex, DC-9, underground warehouse parties and his 6+ year residency at the world famous Eighteenth Street Lounge.

Since 2009, Sol Power All-Stars, the monthly party created by Meistro and fellow resident DJ Stylus, have connected the sounds of the discos of Lagos to Cuban barrios and the beaches of Rio to the warehouses of Detroit and Chicago. Since 2015, their label imprint has released 10 vinyl EPs that have been rinsed by many legends of dance music like Kerri Chandler, Danny Krivit, Francois K, Nightmares on Wax and others. The Sol Power All-Stars have also released original EPs + remixes on Soul Clap Records, Bastard Jazz, Wonderwheel Recordings and more.
