Gettin' Yachty

Listening to these smooth, tightly produced songs in the late 70's and early 80's the I had no idea there was a new genre being born. The term "Yacht Rock" was born from a couple of different sources but essentially from the vision of snorting coke and drinking champagne on a yacht listening to this smooth rock classics. The genre defies definition but you know a "Yacht Rock" song when you hear one. Cheers, snort, party on!
