The early 90’s was a special time for many including myself. And I was fortunate to have been to many legal and illegal raves in fields and warehouses. Some of the best times of my life was certainly in abandoned factories back then.
The music then was predominantly classic breakbeat hardcore rave, and techno.
Based on memories of the euphoric highs and experiences of that era it inspired me to put together a mix of what I would love to play at a warehouse now. Of course this can be played in a kitchen rave also, if you don't want to go anywhere outside! I do enjoy a kitchen rave! :)
This is a mixture of Nu and Old Skool, Breakbeat, techno and Oldskool rave.
Hope you enjoy the Melodies', baselines and rhythms which I tried to keep varied, so the mix like a rollercoaster - as it reminds me of back then! Love KOA
