Sun Is Shining

Two recent Reggae releases--Youssou N’Dour’s “Dakar-Kingston” (2010) and Ziggy Marley’s “Wild and Free” (2011)--reminded me how powerful Reggae music is. The first track on N’Dour’s album, “Marley,” describes how Bob Marley’s music is revered all around the world, and I used that track as a starting point for this mix. It consist of a bunch of great Reggae tunes from around the world. For me Reggae music is associated with sunshine and warmth, which explains the title of the mix. This will be my Summer 2012 mix.
