Always loved this kind of music. I grew up with it and played it on the radio way back in the 80's. The Soul Show with Ferry Maat, Funky Town with Guy De Pré... hardly missed a show. Later, I was a fan of 'De Overnachting' with Jeffrey Willems on 3FM. At that time, I was already working for National Radio Donna hosting 'De Hitclub' after I did a couple of years 'Donna's Dansfolie'. As a dj for radio Donna, I joined Jeffery on 3FM for a special broadcast.
After all those years, this sound is still great. For me, Soulful House is based on those vibes. In this first part (yes, it's in Dutch) I'm focussing on the soul side. In part two there will be more Funk.
