Set almost 100% feminine because women also deserve to be rewarded for their art. It denounces the lack of visibility given to women in electronic music.
In 2017, female DJs were paid 54% less than men (HoneyBook). In 2018, less than 19% of the artists at the 20 biggest festivals in the US were women (Pitchfork, shesaid.so).
This lack of parity and sexism are, unfortunately, only a reflection of our society where women experience wage differences, street harassment or violence because of their gender. Thus, in France 100% of women claim to be victims of sexist harassment or sexual assault on public transport at least once in their lifetime. In 2017, 86% of sexual assault victims were women (MIPROF). As of July 14, 2019, since the beginning of the year, 76 women have been killed in France by their companion or former companion (collective Femicide by companions or ex). That's enough !
