Daydream

This time the art is a classic painting, "The Lady of Shalott":

This tape was originally planned to begin and end with two different versions of "I Feel Great Now", beginning with the original mix and ending with Pyramid's remix. Well, I'm still ending with Pyramid's version, but I found the original mix was too hard to mix out of. Nothing worked! As I looked through my collection for anything that'd work, I decided I'd instead start the tape with a more mellow track. "Glasshouse", from the game Machinarium, won out, and I started putting hip hop tracks after it. It felt just a bit jarring, so I looked for something inbetween to bridge the feeling, and that led to C418's remix of the iconic track "The Driver".

This tape ended up becoming a powerhouse, which I didn't expect! "Spice Pirate Queen" and "Human Touch Experiment" set the listener's eyes upwards, and Pyramid's ingrains a sense of determination. Carpe diem!
