I agree regarding rock music, I tend to listen to the older stuff. I think the various forms of hip hop/techno/electro that we listen to have adapted to the modern world much better than rock has.
what a psychedelic show! very different from the previous ones with great rock tunes, love it!! curious to find jimi hendrix, rolling stones, the stooges, twink, the saints, etc... and my favourites led zeppelin! congrats. my friend this mix should definitely be in favorites 🤘💣🔥

Saw Dark Mark earlier this year in Brighton in a tiny theatre, it was with Duke Garwood so a bit meh, not Lanegan's fault, they were promoting the album 'With Animals', Garwood had sent him the music and he just added vocals, sort of works on cd but live it was a bit of a dirge. He encored with I Am The Wolf though and I got to shake his hand! And I saw Spiritualised at the second Wickerman!! Cheers for this mix, loved every tune. It's probably been ten years since I last saw Lanegan. I haven't heard that much of the recent material. He releases so much it's hard to keep up. I can't remember the last time I saw Spiritualized, it's been a good while. Thanks for the mix, I'll check it out at some point today.

I've seen Mark Lanegan 15 days ago in concert, what a fuckin voice ! so Magic !
I’ve seen him a couple of times myself. First time in Edinburgh he just played with a guitarist. Second time in Glasgow he played with a full band.
