Ms Bandcloud (her name is Orla) is pregnant. Yesterday, while doing some pre-baby DIY prep, I was listening to a forthcoming album from Benjamin Finger, and I started thinking about opportunities to hear such music A) loud and B) in a group setting. I also started thinking about how it might be hard for new parents to get time to find new music, never mind time to listen to it — so I imagine a scenario where parents could bring their children somewhere they could hear new and interesting music that wouldn't be too harsh or upsetting for their children's ears. Realistically, that seems like it won't ever happen. But the thought inspired me to put together this mix. I hope you like it.
