Chants are used in a variety of settings, some examples include African, Hawaiian, Native American & Hindu traditions. whether it is personal are in group, sacred are secular. It can be found in all world music traditions and sometimes evolved in more elaborate song forms rooted in ancient language forms.
It can be a powerful and haunting tool for invocations of unity, laments & mystical incantations and mostly with a massive earworm factor to!
