Havok was formed in 2004 by David Sanchez while still in high school. Over the next two decades the band became one of the most respected names in the modern thrash revival alongside groups such as Municipal Waste, Warbringer, and Evile.
Their breakthrough albums Burn, Time Is Up, Unnatural Selection, Conformicide, and V established the band as a force in modern metal. While heavily influenced by classic thrash pioneers, Havok developed a reputation for addressing modern political and social issues, making them more than simply a nostalgia act.
Unlike many revival-era bands, Havok has continued evolving while remaining rooted in the speed, precision, and intensity that made thrash metal legendary.
