Deepa (Nitewerx Remix)

Nitewerx takes Deepa somewhere darker. The groove begins low and restrained as arpeggios move across the stereo field and synths slowly gather around them. Congas join the rhythm, then the hats, then another layer. There is no rush. The track grows because each new element has somewhere to go. Percussion thickens the groove while phasing effects move through the arrangement, appearing and receding as tension builds. Then much of it disappears. The breakdown is stripped and deliberate, allowing the emptiness to carry as much weight as the sounds surrounding it. Slowly the rhythm assembles itself again. Congas return. Movement increases. The drop arrives cleanly and everything snaps back into focus, with dark, moody synth work carrying the track forward once more.
