ArtyParti - Mackie's Corner

On this week's ArtyParti, we meet the teams behind two exhibitions in newly refurbished Sunderland venue Mackie's Corner.

It's funded by the Arts Council England and the Heritage Lottery Fund, through Sunderland Culture and the "Great Place Scheme” - aiming to unlock unused historic spaces in different, and often creative ways.

Vincent Todd, Artist & Curator of EMC Arts, who just moved out of the space, also discussed his newly funded residency call-out for creative practitioners in Sunderland, the "SR1 Residency"

The exhibition moving in is "20/20 Vision" - featuring 20 artists across September. Meet Visual Artist Stephanie Smith and the Lead Artist of Sunderland Indie behind the project, Barrie West.
