When a baby or very young child first has a crayon or pencil, it has no concept of art or pretentions to represent the the world around it, or deliberately project its internal world for others to see.
They simply enjoy the fascination of a stick that makes (coloured) lines.
The scribbles are not art. They're just exploring what they can do, for their own sake, & learning at the same time.
Here then, the concept of 'taking a line for a walk', alongside the work of http://www.mixcloud.com/djkaboodle/ & http://www.mixcloud.com/FATS/ formed the starting point of this collection.
(As a bonus, a very good friend of mine allowed me to include one of their recordings in this. I'll leave you to guess)
