A happy adventure with the courageous little bear is Paddington in Peru. In the darkest Peru, Paddington must battle new foes to find Aunt Lucy. A letter is sent to him from the nun. When Paddington learns that his aunt is ill, the Reverend Mother encourages him to come visit. Paddington is joined in Peru by Jonathan, Judy, Mrs. Bird, and Mr. and Mrs. Brown. Aunt Lucy has disappeared, they learn. Hunter Cabot, the riverboat skipper, assists the Browns in searching the jungle for the aunt.
