Desideratum OR a collection of random tracks I really wanted to mix
Hello Guys!
Thanks for being here and listening to this. Some things sound better when you plan them in your head than in real life. This might be one of those things. Initially inspired by Max Ehrmann's poem "Desiderata", I wanted to compile poems that have meant something to me over the years. In this mix, you will find a bit of everything. Moving poetry, techno, trance, soundtracks, etc. Try to enjoy it, and of course, tell me what you think of it.
Around minute 44 I've mixed Max Ehrmann's "Desiderata" in to Hans Zimmer's "Old Souls" from Inception OST. From there on some fun with classical music and techno as well.

Random tracks in your head you say....?? This was a compelling soundtrack in which I totally immersed myself in! I'm only just dipping in and out of Mixcloud, but thanks ever so for the heads-up as everything happens for a reason and this is just what I need today. I'll be honest, not my usual cup of tea, but without 'calm' you cannot make room for the chaos. It's now on my rotation playlist for when I need another dose! great work; very human themes, a lyrical feel to it and great blending - the spoken word and poetry gave it a narrative edge and an up-close 'personal-epic' aspect. that Lamb song is just lovely and when the first techno/electronic section came in it was a phenomenal gear-shift.
