We were just having some fun, not intending to churn out some mind blowing content to impress nor showcase anything in specific, just two brothers in arms and on decks being mindless and doing what we do best..have not figured out what that is yet, We're both Cancerians, odd and only kids, go figure. haha actually we seriously did not plan on what to play hence anyhow. I guess the idea of us doing combined mixes and playing together is to inculcate a certain essence of camaraderie and a personal touch into Djing, I've always felt it has been too hedonistic and narcissistic for too long, that's what probably put me off the whole Dj thing for the longest time so to me this mix plus the rest are reminders that something good can come out of this, friendship, brotherhood and other more innocent, maybe naive notions, nevertheless meaningful to me. Think of it as toys, would it not be so much more fun to share toys with someone then have it all to yourself? In the words of Martin Fry Vanity kills it don't pay bills. lol
Brilliant selection. And a good idea to have Mr Narayan start the mix with Prodigy's Narayan ...
