After dropping my last mix " Route 80", I decided to do something totally different with my next project. The inspiration for this one came from the movie " The Wiz " which was a futuristic take on the American Classic "The Wizard of Oz". Centered in a Black Universe, the movie casted a heavy, dark but soulful vibe over the Emerald City. That's the exact sound I was aiming for in this mix of mostly modern soul and funk joints.
