In news, about 50 students and visitors participated in the Red, White and Black tour Wednesday, highlighting buildings and spaces that have had a historical impact on the lives of black students at NC State. The tour is held twice a year and was created in 2011 as a collaboration between the African American Cultural Center and NCSU Libraries, with assistance from the Department of History.In features, Maddy Bonnabeaux follows two teams through their short film projects for the 16th annual Campus MovieFest. Campus MovieFest will be on Thursday night at 8 p.m. in the Witherspoon Student Cinema. Also, assistant professor of English Jim Knowles founded the Oxford Friars Project in 2011, which has recently gained more attention due to an Oxford excavation this summer. Lastly, the University Theatre production Anonymous, which is a take on Homer’s epic poem “The Odyssey” will perform Wednesday through Saturday at 7:30 pm and Sunday at 2pm.
