This is a "best of" set containing the most genre defining tracks from what I like to call Complextro.
I have re-used many of the tracks from my earlier sets and I really feel I squeezed out the essence of the genre this time :-)
So what is Complextro?
Many people call it Electro, Dubstep, Progressive House, Noize and such. They are all wrong :-)
Much of the instrumentation comes from Dubstep, but Dubstep plays @ 70-90 BPM (or double) and Complextro @ 128-132BPM. Complextro is a strange combination and can be compared to what Goa/Psytrance is to pure trance. It takes many layers of melody lines fighting for attention over steady pumping beats and often a sawtooth-y bassline. Sometimes there are vocals, sometimes not. The genre spawns from artists that wants to exploit every frequency and channel of their equipment, most of them probably never seen daylight but likes to tan in strobe light.
Let's be nerds 4 evah!

Getting tired of this thing "reminding" me to follow Carl Cox... Why should I care about DJ sets more boring than Norway's "National Firewood Night?"
