Boiling Vacuum

The JavaFX ListView is fairly buggy. When nodes are created during an animation, part of the UI might simply freeze. To solve this we wrote our own listview, which aside from fixing a JavaFx concurrency bug, would also unfold the inserted item. The unfolding of new items reminded us of the vacuum, where suddenly particles might pop into existence.

The second reason why this mix is called 'boiling vacuum', is because we started out with 14 minimal tracks and placed them behind each other in the mix. Then we inserted another track in between each two tracks of the mix. Then we did that again, until those 14 minimal tracks had been seperated by 3 to 4 other tracks. The result is a mix that is walking around a thematic expression of minimalism, whilst retaining some crucial tempo and style changes to keep it interesting.
