Really enjoying this show, the mix of some familiar and a lot of unfamiliar, especially the French language stuff that's new to me! Any chance of a tracklist? Also, did you know that Juana Molina (love this song) released a new record this year? I only just discovered it and haven't heard it talked about anywhere. It's great!
Hi Vodem, Thank you for listening and reposting. I was trying to blend some newer stuff w wonky songs from big names like neil. French stuff was Sadier (stereolab) solo, world brain and MC Solaar. I didnt realise how french it was at the time of making it!! I adore Juana Molina. Booked to see her in the new year. I liked DOGA. Didnt have the magic of Segundo but needs a relisten. posting tracklist now :)
@58WLuluThanks for the tracklist! I should have recognized Sadier. I'm putting together my mixes of 2025 favorites and there's a fair amount of French sprinkled in there -- French indie (including Quebec) is having a bit of a moment.
I agree that DOGA doesn't reach the heights of Segundo, Tres Cosas, or Son, but I liked it more than her other more abrasive recent albums. I saw her not too long ago in San Francisco. She was great, so enjoy!
